A major Italian sixteenth century artist.
The exhibition presents Tintoretto, the major Italian sixteenth century artist. The Scuderie decided to devote an exhibition to Tintoretto's œuvre in order to conduct a detailed study of this artist who participated significantly in the development of the Italian art of his time.
Visitors will be invited to pay attention to three themes running through Tintoretto's work: religion, mythology and portraits. This unique exhibition of works by Tintoretto makes it possible to appreciate the evolution of his style and gain a better understanding of sixteenth century Italian painting.
